A pair of Japanese Imari pattern porcelain vases and a similar larger Japanese Imari porcelain vase, all later mounted as lampbases the vases probably late Meiji/Taishō period all of canted octagonal inverted baluster form with underglaze blue and overglaze iron red and gilt decoration, the pair each with lotus arched panels decorated with flowering branches, and birds and turtles reserved on a dense floral ground below Buddhistic lions and dragons, the shallow upright necks with scrolling dragons and clouds, the larger vase with a continuous scene of birds and flowering trees below lotus shaped floral panels with wide borders, the shallow upright neck with shaped trellis panel decoration, all with later brass electrical fittings raised on circular giltwood bases, the pair, 43.5cm high, 30cm diameter, the single vase, 45cm high, 32cm diameter approximately (3) Footnotes: Provenance Acquired from Horneman Antiques, London.
