Two Ball-top Wrought Andirons and a Trammel, America or Europe, 19th century. A set of large wrought iron and steel andirons with brass ball finials mounted to tapered tops of strap iron pillars, which have three scrolled hooks riveted down the front and are raised on flat-arched and C-scroll-ornamented base overlapped by wrought scroll-end of plain billet bars; together with a wrought iron trammel adjustable to eight lengths, having intact riveted latches and hooks at both ends, (andiron) wd. 9 1/4, dp. 25, ht. 25 1/2 in.
