Diamond panels arranged in five rows divided by serrated bands of taupe calico and surrounded with matching band border enclosed by stitched yellow binding, the blocks pieced to depict black figures on white ground wearing alternating red, yellow, and tan shirts, eyes worked in buttonhole stitch and the mouths in chain stitch, hand quilted on pale yellow plain-woven backing. 71 x 74 in.
