Pale Amethyst Pressed Glass Tulip Vase and Ceramic Model, Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. (1825-88), Sandwich, Massachusetts, c. 1855. Elongated eight-sided bowl terminating in flaring scalloped rim, over peg base wafer-joined to octagonal foot; together with a slightly smaller version in press-molded earthenware with lustrous brown glaze decoration, (repairs to rim of ceramic vase), diam. 5 1/4, ht. 10 3/8 in.
