Six Colorless Pressed Glass Table Items, America, 19th century. 1. Flint glass dish in Peacock Feather pattern, with scalloped edge conforming to bull's-eye terminals of twenty-four fanned feathers, the base wheel-polished at junction of handle, which either broke or failed to take shape in production, probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1835, wd. 7 3/4, dp. 8 1/4, ht. 1 3/8 in. 2. Octagonal dish pressed in Paneled Rose and Thistle pattern, the circular well centering a sunflower, probably Sandwich, Massachusetts, c. 1845, diam. 5 1/4, ht. 1 1/8 in. 3. Flint glass compote with bowl having rim of alternating large and small scallops, the former centering a Prince's-feather border pattern, encircling a band of lozenges and bull's eyes, the four-pointed star at center surrounded by Prince's-feather and scrolls, wafer-joined to knopped standard raised on domed foot press-molded with diamond point on both sides and rim of alternating ovals and darts, probably Sandwich, Massachusetts, c. 1835, diam. 6 1/2, ht. 4 1/4 in. 4. Flint glass plate with scallop and diamond edge conforming to marly pattern of fans and lozenges, the well filled by a prismatic rosette, some rough sections of rim from incomplete casting, diam. 6 1/8, ht. 3/4 in. 5. Soda glass plate press molded with lacy pattern within shaped C-scroll rim, diam. 7 3/8, ht. 3/4 in. 6. Lacy pressed glass spoon rest with shaped scroll medallion border, wd. 4 1/2, dp. 5 5/8, ht. 1 in.
