Four Carved Wooden Watch Hutches, 19th century. Assembled group includes two hutches in the form of tall-case clocks, both with intaglio-carved panels and pedimented hoods above aperture for dial, one carved from solid oak and the other assembled with door hinged to back of hood; together with one shelf-clock hutch having an integral eagle finial on hollowed and relief-carved square case with removable door, mounted on a stepped platform with relief-carved horses and acanthus leaves, above a larger molded platform with acanthus scroll decoration, the bottom inscribed 'J.A. CREIGH. / From his Father / J.G. CREIGH .69Ys' and dated 1886; and one mantel clock case of hollowed and carved hardwood block, the dial aperture surrounded by foliate vines and a bird perched on a berry branch with roughed ground, an applied relief panel of a lion forming the pediment and raised on a short stepped base, the reverse inscribed 'EB - 27829' beside cypher mark, largest wd. 11 1/2, dp. 2 1/2, ht. 11 1/2 in.
