The hatchel or heckling comb on maple board with iron teeth driven through from below, covered with nailed box having wrought iron latch, incised '17 + 69 / C / S + E' at one end, together with a stave-walled mug with locked staves and carved handle, hatchel with cover, 17cm wide, 58cm deep, 15cm high (7 5/8in wide, 23in deep, 6 1/4in high).
