Embroidered Silk Needlework Love Token, 18th century. Plain-woven gold silk panel worked in white, pink, blue, and green silk threads to center a bleeding heart pierced by arrows, surrounded by flowers and a cupid figure, with scalloped border outlined by couched metallic silver thread, tacked at corners to pine board and mounted in glazed frame, inscribed 'SC 482-1' twice on reverse, panel wd. 3 1/4, ht. 4 1/2 in.
