Louis Ernest Barrias (French, 1841-1905) The Scarf Dancer, late 19th century Patinated and parcel gilt bronze figure, cast from a model and depicting a naked woman dancing with a long scarf above her head, integral bronze base, raised on a contemporary cut corner, veined, rouge marble square plinth. 62 cm high Signed in the cast E. Barrias and Susses Fres Edt, with Paris foundry roundel.
