Edward Barnsley (British, 1900-1987) A metamorphic settle table Oak, dual purpose settle and table, the rectangular top sits on the arm rests for the table and folds back to form the back of the settle, the seat with central, hinged compartment, flanked on either side by hinged flaps, raised on square supports united by stretchers/feet, the front apron with exposed joins. 78 cm x 168 cm x 75.5 cm Footnotes: Provenance Acquired directly from the artist Miles Tomalin Esq.
