He has worked with various mediums including, sand, ceramic, fibre, glass, palm leaf, plaster of paris, alongside the traditional canvas and paper. His subjects are varied, but the present lot depicting a village scene is a quintessential example of the work and style he is known for. The structure evokes the style of realism, although it is heavily verging on the abstract and geometric. The village huts can been deciphered, whilst the two women peering out are heavily composed and structured. The colours employed are muted and mirror the time of day being depicted.
