Paire d'étriers en acier damasquiné or, Maroc XIXe siècle A pair of gold-damascened steel stirrups, Morocco, 19th Century of typical form, each with a sloping rectangular base pierced with a stylised rosette, the tapered sides and cross bar surmounted by a suspension ring, decorated in gold overlay with geometric designs each 20.5 cm. high(2) Footnotes: Provenance Property from a Royal Collection. A similar pair of stirrups is in the Metropolitan Museum, New York (Accession Number 42.50.462, 463).
