Jonathan Pryce (as Prince Philip): A jacket and trouser ensemble Season 5, Episode 2, 'The System' A classic olive green wax Barbour jacket with a brown corduroy collar, an off-white brushed cotton shirt by Viyella with long sleeves and a green, brown and orange checked collar, with production label reading 2. Philip; together with heavyweight camel wool trousers, with printed production label reading 2. Philip, and a light camel-coloured V-neck cashmere jumper by House of Bruar; accompanied by an olive green flat cap in herringbone tweed (5) Footnotes: As seen in the carriage driving scene at Windsor Castle with Natascha McElhone (as Penny Romsey). Prince Philip was a keen sportsman from a young age, but he is probably best remembered for his equestrian career. He was an accomplished polo player; however, he developed arthritis as he got older, making playing more difficult. When he was 50 he took up carriage driving instead and competed into his 80s. Prince Philip had his own four-wheeled carriage specially designed around 2014, made of aluminium and steel, which he would drive around Windsor. His love for the carriage and the sport was honoured at his funeral on the 17th April 2021, as it was led through the Windsor Castle Quadrangle by two fell horses, with the Duke's personal effects on the seat, including his driving cap and gloves.
