Claire Foy, Olivia Colman & Imelda Staunton (as the Queen): A parquetry and gilt metal mounted cylinder bureau in the Louis XVI style First seen in Season 2, in the Audience Room set The roll top enclosing a pull-out writing surface on square tapering legs, together with a Louis XVI style bergère, the bureau dressed with a variety of props to include: photograph frames; a desk lamp; a pair of urns; and a blotter, 133cm wide x 60cm deep x 121cm high, (52in wide x 23 1/2in deep x 47 1/2in high) (qty) Footnotes: This bureau was previously used onstage for the play The Audience. Also written by Peter Morgan, the play premiered in the West End in 2013, and centred on the weekly audiences given by Her Majesty the Queen to Prime Ministers. It would later serve as the nucleus of the idea for The Crown. Dressed by The Crown's Set Decorating Department and items may have changed from when used in filming.
