Selection of poems made by Kenneth Grahame. Letter reads, 'Dear Mrs. Murfitt: We have let Nellie go. Mrs. Field found it impossible to put up with her impertinence. So we want you to come for a week or ten days to take charge of Billy. It seems too bad to call you away from home at Christmas time, but this is one of the 'fortunes of war'. So haste to our relief.
