ART NOUVEAU PEARL AND DIAMOND WING BROOCH, CIRCA 1900 Pearl Rose-cut diamonds Mounted in gold French assay mark Length 1.8 x 8.7cm Weight approx. 12.0g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to the unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 16ct gold). Pin fitting with solder visible to base, visible to reverse. Partially struck French assay mark to pin (owl). Pin fitting secure. PEARL Measuring very approx. 8.7 - 7.4mm, untested. Off-round shape displaying a cream body colour. Some wrinkling and variation in growth visible. Some glue residue visible to reverse of pearl. DIAMONDS Displaying a soft lustre. Some with chips.
