TWO DIAMOND PENDANTS 1st: Diamond-set 'wish bone' pendant/necklace, 2012 Brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.15ct total 18 carat gold UK hallmarks, European convention marks Length: pendant 2.6cm, chain 46.5cm 2nd: Diamond cross pendant Associated chain Brilliant-cut diamond, approx. 0.25ct Length 3.0cm Total weight approx. 11.0g (2) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION 1st: Negligible surface wear to the 18 carat gold. Left-hand shoulder of wishbone motif lasered with UK hallmarks for 18 carat gold, maker's mark JM, European convention mark and date letter n. Wishbone bail stamped to reverse JEM and 18K. Chain stamped to clasp link 'Fancy', JM, UK hallmarks for 18 carat gold and European convention mark, reverse marked ITALY 18KT. Clasp secure. Diamonds bright and lively. 2nd: Light surface wear to the unhallmarked yellow metal (pendant testing as 16ct gold) with some minor spots of discolouration visible under closer inspection. Associated chain unhallmarked (testing as 14ct gold) stamped to clasp link with unidentified maker's mark and 585. Clasp secure. Not possible to estimate diamond colour due to setting, estimated as S13 clarity. Typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some surface reaching. Assessed in mount. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
