ROW OF CULTURED PEARLS WITH EMERALD AND DIAMOND PENDANT/CLASP 6.0-8.8mm cultured pearls Old brilliant and single-cut diamonds, principal diamond very approx. 0.60ct Step-cut emeralds Clasp not strung Lengths: necklace approx. 100.7cm, clasp 2.1cm Weight approx. 64.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to white metal (testing as 18ct gold). Clasp only strung to one side, attached to end of cultured pearl necklace as a pendant fitting. CULTURED PEARLS Displaying a creamy white body colour with some rose overtones and a medium to high lustre. Skins predominantly smooth, some minor wrinkles and blemishes visible upon closer inspection. Some residue visible to some pearls, would benefit from a professional clean. DIAMONDS Principal diamond estimated as J-K colour, VS2/SI1 clarity, assessed in mount. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. EMERALDS Principal emerald measuring approx. 4.4 x 3.1mm. The emeralds displaying a medium green hue with typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some surface reaching. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
