COLLECTION OF JEWELLERY 1st: Gold box-link chain, 1976 9 carat gold UK hallmarks Length 22.9cm 2nd: Box-link chain Length 50.5cm 3rd: Liali diamond-set pendant necklace Brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.40ct total Signed Liali Lengths: pendant 1.8cm, chain 45.1cm 4th: Charm bracelet Suspending 9 charms 9 carat gold curb-link bracelet UK hallmarks Length very approx. 16.0cm 5th: Hinged bangle 9 carat rose gold UK hallmark, European convention mark Inner circumference very approx. 17.0cm Total weight approx. 42.0g (5) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION 1st: Light surface wear to the 9 carat gold in the form of very minor spots of discolouration to clasp links visible under closer inspection. Chain stamped to clasp link with UK hallmarks for 9 carat gold, date letter D and maker's mark EJLtd. Clasp stamped 9ct. Clasp secure. 2nd: Negligible surface wear to the unhallmarked yellow metal (chain testing as 18ct gold). Clasp stamped to link with Italian assay mark and 750. Minor spots of discolouration to clasp. Clasp secure. 3rd: Negligible surface wear to the unhallmarked metal (pendant testing as 17ct gold). Pendant signed to reverse Liali, 750, 0.40ct. Clasp stamped 750. Clasp secure. Diamonds bright and lively. 4th: Some surface wear present to the 9 carat gold chain and accompanying charms in the form of minor scuffs and scratches. Chain stamped with UK hallmarks for 9 carat gold, poorly struck makers mark (possibly PP) and date letter K. Enamel charm with some losses to enamel. Enamel charm testing as 11ct gold and poodle testing as 14ct gold, remaining charms with UK hallmarks for 9 carat gold. Clasp secure. 5th: Light surface wear to the 9 carat gold. Inner hoop stamped with UK hallmarks for 9 carat gold, European convention mark, maker's mark IBB in trefoil lozenge. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
