TWO DIAMOND RINGS 1st: Diamond single-stone ring Old cushion-shaped, old brilliant-cut and single-cut diamonds Principal stone, approx. 0.90ct, remaining diamonds approx. 0.20ct total Ring size approx. O (hoop off-round) 2nd: Diamond-set half eternity ring Pavé-set single-cut diamonds, approx. 0.10ct Ring size approx. O½ (hoop off-round) Total weight approx. 5.0g (2) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION 1st: Light surface wear to the unhallmarked white metal (hoop testing as 13ct gold, gallery testing as platinum). Sizing lines visible to either side of gallery shoulders, later hoop. Possible sizing line to base of hoop visible under closer inspection. Some metal loss to one side of gallery with one diamond deficient. Principal diamond measuring approx. 6.3 x 6.3 x 3.7mm, assessed as SI1/2 clarity, J/K colour. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. Assessed in mount. 2nd: Negligible surface wear to the unhallmarked white metal (hoop testing as 13ct gold). Sizing lines visible to either side of gallery and base of hoop, possibly later hoop/resized. Diamonds bright and lively. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
