SYNTHETIC SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING Step-cut synthetic sapphire Old cushion-shaped diamonds, approx. 1.35cts total Ring size approx. J½ Weight approx. 6.0g Footnotes: Please note this lot has VAT at the prevailing rate on both Hammer Price and Buyer's Premium. OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to unhallmarked metal (testing as platinum), inner hoop stamped 'PLAT'. Evidence of a resize to base of band visible upon close inspection. SYNTHETIC SAPPHIRE Measuring approx. 9.0 x 7.1 x 3.7mm, displaying well saturated, vivid-slightly deep blue hue, with excellent transparency. One small area of abrasion to girdle visible with magnification. DIAMONDS Estimated as H/I colour, VS-SI (mostly SI) clarity, a few inclusions surface reaching, assessed in mounts.
