BIRD BROOCH, CIRCA 1960 Circular-cut sapphire Length 5.5cm Weight approx. 19.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 18ct gold). Small spots of discolouration visible to reverse. Reverse stamped 750, numbered 574, with maker's mark PAX in a horizontal lozenge. Pin secure. Slight rose-gold tint to tail of bird. Overall in good condition. SAPPHIRE Sapphire of a richly saturated medium to darkish blue hue. Reverse-set with pavilion facing outwards.
