DEMANTOID GARNET AND DIAMOND NECKLACE Pear-shaped demantoid garnet, approx. 2.35cts Old brilliant and brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.80ct total Lengths: chain 39.0cm, pendant 2.5cm Weight 5.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Overall in good condition with light surface wear, the unhallmarked white metal pendant (testing as platinum), the unhallmarked white metal chain (testing as 17ct gold), stamped '18k'. Connecting link to the top diamond opening up a little, currently secure but may need professional attention. GARNET Measuring approx. 9.4 x 7.2 x 5.3mm, lively and displaying bright light olive green hue with good transparency. Upon close inspection, and with 10x magnification, some feather and horsetail inclusions visible. DIAMONDS Bright and lively, estimated as H/I colour, SI clarity, assessed in mounts.
