GEM-SET FANCY-LINK NECKLACE, FIRST HALF OF 19TH CENTURY Turquoise cabochons Cushion-shaped ruby Length very approx. 124.5cm Weight approx. 55.0g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to the unhallmarked metal with some small scuffs visible under closer inspection, some variation between colour of some links (clasp testing as 19ct gold, chain links testing between 10-11ct, some curb links testing as 20ct gold, possibly later gilding to some links - possibly later addition). Minor spot of metal loss to inside of flower motif on clasp. Clasp secure. TURQUOISE Displaying a blue hue with some veining, pits. Slight greenish blue hue to two stones.
