N½ (hoop split) Total weight approx. 44.0g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION 1st: Light surface wear to the unhallmarked metal (testing as 18ct gold). Ring appears to have been re-shanked - the shank/band of slightly different manufacture to the shoulders. Under 10x magnification, some pitting and small splits visible to inside base of band. 2nd: Amethyst slightly loose in mount but currently secure. Some slight wear to the unhallmarked metal (testing as 13ct), the band with some light scratches and small dents). 3rd: Some slight wear and light scratches commensurate with age. The band split/open at the back. CITRINE Measuring approx. 17.1 x 13.1 x 8.5mm, displaying medium brownish, yellowish orange colour with excellent transparency. Under 10x magnification, some abrasion to the girdle and very minor abrasion to facet edges visible. AMETHYST Measuring approx. 17.8 x 17.7 x 10.86mm. Of medium, slightly deep purple hue, with excellent transparency. Upon close inspection, some colour banding visible. ZIRCON Measuring approx. 14.4 x 14.3 x 10.8mm. Bright and lively, displaying medium light blue hue, with excellent transparency. Eye visible abrasion to the facet edges, particularly around the table, with a couple of small chips to the girdle visible with magnification.
