PEARL AND DIAMOND PENDANT, 19TH CENTURY AND LATER Openwork shield form Old cushion-shaped diamonds, approx. 1.35cts total 12.8 x 8.5mm approx. baroque pearl, untested Length 4.0cm Damaged Weight approx. 4.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Diamond surmount missing some sections (2nd principal diamond collet and another centre stone appear to have been cut out). The remaining mount in good condition for age, unhallmarked metal (testing as silver and 9ct gold). DIAMONDS Bright, lively and well matched. Estimated as G-I colour, VS-SI clarities, assessed in mount. Principal diamond measuring approx. 4.74 x 4.66 x 3.93mm. PEARL Elongated baroque-shape untested pearl, with associated wrinkling and variation in growth, cream body colour with pink and green overtones.
