BOUCHERON: SAPPHIRE CUFFLINKS Sugarloaf and step-cut sapphires Signed Boucheron Paris, maker's mark, numbered 28697, French assay marks Length approx. 2.4 x 1.9cm Total weight approx. 12.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to the unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 18ct gold). Minor spots of discolouration visible under closer inspection to the side of bar and below shoulders. Bar signed Boucheron Paris, metal stamped with French assay marks (eagle's heads) and numbered 28697. Heavily rubbed maker's mark stamped underneath fitting (possibly JR or JP within horizontal lozenge). Fittings slightly stiff but secure. SAPPHIRES Displaying a medium to dark blue hue with good transparency. Some small inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Some abrasion visible to facet edges under 10x magnification.
