BENSON: DOUBLE SOVEREIGN COIN CASE/KEEPER, CIRCA 1912 9 carat gold Maker's mark J.W.B, UK hallmark Length approx. 7.7cm Weight approx. 36.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to the 9ct gold. Sovereign case springs with good tension. Front of case inscribed WLJ. Case stamped to interior with UK hallmarks for 9ct gold, maker's mark J.W.B within oval cartouche and date letter 'r'. Numbered 545. Hoop stamp 9.375. Heavily rubbed mark visible to reverse of pendant, possibly CH. Indistinguishable mark to front of pendant.
