Necklace clasp secure. Earrings with post fittings, only suitable for pierced ears. 1st pendant with rubbed mark (possibly DIA 25) to reverse, reverse of pendant and chain with maker's mark ALd, London hallmark and European convention mark to reverse of pendant. 2nd inner hoop with maker's mark GSL and UK hallmark. 3rd earring posts with maker's mark ALd, UK hallmark and European convention mark. SAPPHIRES 1st: The sapphire measuring approx. 7.0 x 5.1 x 3.6mm, displaying a medium to dark blue hue with good transparency, colour banding visible under closer inspection. 2nd: The sapphire measuring approx. 7.1 x 5.0 (depth not possible due to setting), displaying a dark blue hue with good transparency. With 10x magnification and strong light, colour banding visible. 3rd: Bright, lively, of medium blue hue with excellent transparency. Under 10x magnification and strong light, some colour banding visible. DIAMONDS Well matched, bright and lively, estimated as H/I colour, VS-SI clarity, assessed in mount.
