EMERALD AND DIAMOND CROSS PENDANT Step-cut emerald Table-cut diamonds Closed-back settings French assay marks Length 7.8cm Weight approx. 13.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to unhallmarked metal (testing as 16ct gold and silver) with some eye visible discolouration and small scuffs. Stamped to reverse with French assay mark (eagle's head) and rubbed mark (possibly M M flanking an indistinct mark within horizontal lozenge). DIAMONDS Diamonds with some chips and surface reaching inclusions visible. EMERALD Measuring approx. 8.1 x 7.1mm (depth not possible due to setting), displaying a light to medium yellowish green hue with good transparency, some typical inclusions eye visible, some surface reaching.
