AQUAMARINE AND SEED PEARL PENDANT; BLUE TOPAZ AND SEED PEARL BROOCH 1st: Aquamarine and seed pearl pendant, circa 1890 Pear-shaped aquamarines Seed pearls One seed pearl deficient Later pendant fitting Length 4.7cm Fitted case 2nd: Blue topaz and seed pearl brooch Oval-cut blue topaz Seed pearls Length 4.6cm Total weight approx. 7.0g (2) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION 1st: Light surface wear to unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 12ct gold). Spot of solder visible to reverse. Later pendant fitting. One seed pearl missing. The aquamarine displaying a light blue hue with good transparency, inclusions visible under 10x magnification. 2nd: Light surface wear to unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 8ct gold). Spots of solder visible to reverse. Reverse marked 9ct. Blue topaz measuring approx. 8.2 x 6.3 x 3.8mm and 8.2 x 6.5 x 3.8mm displaying a light blue hue with very good transparency.
