RUBY AND DIAMOND FOLIATE EARRINGS Bicoloured Oval-cut rubies Cushion-shaped diamonds Length 2.0cm Total weight approx. 7.5g Footnotes: A sample of the rubies have been tested at The Gem & Pearl Laboratory and found to be natural and unheated with a geological occurrence common to Thailand, East Africa, etc. OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to unhallmarked bicoloured metal (testing as 17-18ct gold). Spot of discolouration visible to reverse. Earring post slightly bent, fittings do not match. Only suitable for pierced ears. RUBIES Central rubies measuring very approx. 5.5 x 4.5 x 2.3mm and 5.7 x 4.4 x 2.2mm, displaying a medium red hue with good transparency, some nicks and chips visible under closer inspection to facet edges.
