SYNTHETIC RUBY, DIAMOND AND CULTURED PEARL BROOCH/PENDANT Pear-shaped synthetic ruby Old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, old brilliant-cut diamonds very approx. 1.15cts total 7.3mm cultured pearl Length 5.0cm Weight approx. 9.0g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to unhallmarked metal (testing as 13ct gold and plat) with some small scratches. Fitting stamped with Romanian assay mark (urus head) and letter B. Some spots of solder visible to reverse. Pin fitting appears secure, safety catch with metal loss. SYNTHETIC RUBY Displaying a pinkish red hue. Small chip visible under 10x magnification. Gas bubble and curved growth lines visible under 10x magnification.
