GEM-SET AND ENAMEL PORTRAIT MINATURE AND BUTTERFLY BROOCH, CIRCA 1870 Blue and black enamel - wings open to cover portrait Seed pearls Red gemstone cabochon Portrait miniature, painted over photograph on card Glazed compartment to reverse Length 7.1cm Weight approx. 22.5g Cased Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 10ct gold) with some light denting to frame and some eye visible spots of discolouration. ENAMEL Some eye visible losses to enamel. SEED PEARLS Displaying a creamy white to white body colour, some variation in tone with a low to medium lustre.
