CULTURED PEARL AND VARI-COLOURED SAPPHIRE NECKLACE 5.5-5.9mm cultured pearls Heart-shaped yellow sapphire Calibré-cut sapphires Clasp signed VCA Length 45.5cm Weight approx. 28.5g Footnotes: The Precious Stone Laboratory: natural yellow sapphire, report number 960357, 16th August 1996. OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to unhallmarked metal (clasp testing as 17ct gold, pendant testing as 19ct gold) with some spots of discolouration visible to heart-shaped pendant. Clasp signed VCA©7500R and marked B4391I5. Clasp secure. Some areas of discolouration to stringing, would recommend restringing. CULTURED PEARLS Displaying a cream body colour with rose and green overtones and a medium to high lustre. Some minor dimples and wrinkles visible under 10x magnification. YELLOW SAPPHIRE Measuring approx. 11.2 x 13.7 x 7.0mm Displaying an even yellow hue with good transparency. SAPPHIRES Displaying even, medium to dark blue hue, with good transparency.
