HARDSTONE CAMEO PENDANT/BROOCH OF AN EMPEROR, 18TH-19TH CENTURY The head, wearing a laurel wreath, facing left Pendant length 4.9cm Weight approx. 22.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Natural banding visible on forehead, cheek and down length of neck. Some veining in the field eye visible under a strong light source. White body colour extending below the truncation and also visible at top of field between 12 and 1 o'clock. Reverse of cameo with inventory number '516' scratched in by hand. Unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 17ct gold) with some surface wear including shallow dents to top and base of outer mount.
