ELIZABETH GAGE: AMETHYST, DIAMOND AND CULTURED PEARL EARCLIPS, 1997 - 8.6 to 8.7mm baroque cultured pearls - Circular-cut amethysts - Brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.70ct total - 18 carat gold - Signed GAGE, maker's mark EG, London hallmark - Length 3.0cm - Total weight approx. 26.5g - Maker's case Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some light surface wear and few small areas of discolouration. Reverse of mount with signed plaque, hinge fittings stamped with maker's marks and hallmarks. Earclips with good tension, suitable for non-pierced ears. Overall, in good condition. AMETHYSTS Well matched medium purple hues. Under 10X magnification, some colour zoning, typical inclusions, light surface abrasions to facets/facet edges and few chips to girdles/pavilions visible. CULTURED PEARLS Displaying a creamy white body colour with green, rose and silver overtones and high lustre, eye visible uneven surface structure.
