Leacroft, 1777--Letters Written by the Late Earl of Chatham to his Nephew Thomas Pitt, half-title, Thomas Grimston Estcourt's bookplate, 'Etruscan' calf (probably by Edwards of Halifax), gilt outer metope and pentaglyph roll enclosing border of classical palmettes in dark stain, gilt tooling around central panel with sun-burst transfer design in plain on a sprinkled ground, centrepiece with Greek-style vase also in dark stain, joints cracked, rubbed, T.
