CHOPARD - a Happy Diamonds elephant pendant, the free-moving brilliant cut diamond collet, to the stylized elephant panel with sapphire eye accent, suspended from a belcher link chain, signed and numbered Chopard, 9166329, length of pendant 2.0cms, length of chain 42.0cms, weight 13.9gms.
It all began in 1860 in the small village of Sonvilier, Switzerland. Here Louis-Ulysse Chopard, a talented young craftsman, established his workshop. By virtue of their precision and reliability, his watches quickly gained a solid reputation among enthusiasts and found buyers as far afield as Eastern Europe, Russia and Scandinavia.
In 1921, the founder?s son, Paul Louis Chopard, opened a branch in La Chaux-de-Fonds and then relocated the company headquarters there. In 1937, he moved the firm to Geneva, the capital of Haute Horlogerie, or Fine Watchmaking, thereby bringing it closer to its cosmopolitan clientele. In 1943, Paul André Chopard, grandson of Louis-Ulysse, took the helm.

Buyer`s Premium is 20% + VAT + 3% for internet bidding.
There will be an extra charge of 2.5% for credit and debit card payments.
Registering to bid
In order to be registered and approved by Auction Zero to take part in and
bid in any auction bidders must have registered their name and address
with:

Approval to bid is at the discretion of Auction Zero and our bidding
partners.
Absentee bidding and telephone bidding will require you to register with
Auction Zero credit or debit card details for security. These details will be
destroyed after the auction/payment is made on winning bid.
When booking a telephone line bidders are committing to a bid at the
lowest published estimate.
Where Buyers have provided credit or debit card details for absentee/
telephone bidding and have not contacted Auction Zero within 3 working
days after the Auction to make payment arrangements, payment will be
charged against the credit/debit card registered.
Shipping
Items can be picked up from Auction Zero’s office by appointment after
the sale.
Shipping requirements can vary from lot to lot, so please contact Auction
Zero for a quote for shipping costs.
If you have bid and won on the-saleroom.com all shipping can be
arranged by the-saleroom.com.
Condition of Lots
Auction Zero makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of any
information given on the condition and age of any Item.
However it is essential that bidders satisfy themselves fully as to the
condition of any lot.
Auction Zero’s staff is happy to discuss and assist with this.
All Lots are sold as found unless stated otherwise in the description.
Condition reports are available via email. Auction Zero staff will answer
questions regarding any Lot.
Catalogue descriptions may indicate some damage, repair and / or
restorations or alterations. This is a guide only and is not a full condition
